Their story

Grace for all our days

Gregory and Lianna’s wedding film places faith at the centre of the life they are choosing together. An opening prayer looks beyond this one day, toward weeks becoming months and years. Its hope is that they will keep finding their direction in God as their marriage grows.

In the ceremony, that faith is expressed through promises for everyday life. A vow addressed to Lianna promises loyalty and a shared life, then pauses over something especially personal: the commitment to seek forgiveness and restore the relationship when intentions fall short. It is a promise that recognises the work of loving another person, as well as the joy.

Grace returns in the questions put to both of them. They are asked to keep pointing each other toward Jesus and to show grace each day; a gentle joke about an extra measure of it brings warmth to the exchange. At Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park, the ceremony brings together devotion and humour.

The speeches carry that same outlook into the years ahead. One wishes them love on the mountaintops and through the difficult times. Another celebrates the way faith is lived through everyday decisions, alongside an affectionate joke about listening. Their film remembers a wedding full of welcome, and a marriage begun with room for kindness, honesty and forgiveness.
